Itinerary About Wildlife:
This ITINERARY offers significant opportunities to photograph wildlife, and although we do our best to maximize our encounters with wild animals—based on past experience, local knowledge, and current conditions—we must inform you that wild animals are indeed wild and that we do not control them. This itinerary is subject to change due to weather, local conditions, and other factors.

A 238-HECTARE NATURE RESERVE FOR JUST 16 SUITES The 16 suites are strategically distributed in the middle of the Aymara Nature Reserve, in a green area of exuberant nature and incomparable beauty. The Pantaneiros are the people who have lived in the Pantanal for generations. They have their own customs and culture, directly influenced by their relationship with the environment and the cycles of flood and drought. They are based on a simple lifestyle and the use of herbs
20 Sept. - 2026
After breakfast, we will be driven in a private airconditioned vehicle to our Boat Hotel. Our journey to our boat hotel will take approximately 4 to 5 hours, depending on how many photo stops we make. We will be on the largest floodplain in the world... 140 km of dirt road.
Possible species include the world's largest stork, the jabiru, the orange-backed troupial, the black-collared hawk, the Chaco chachalaca, the snail parrot, the roadside hawk and various herons and egrets and pantanal Caiman , an incredible biodiversity!
Arrival at the boat hotel at 12:00 p.m. for lunch and rest. We'll set off after the jaguars at 2:00 p.m. We're counting on luck! I've already seen a jaguar coming towards the hotel boat. 100 meters! Incredible!
21 Sept. -2026:
We will spend the next three days looking for and photographing jaguars from boats in the heart of the Encontro das Àquas State Park. Possible species: jaguars, capybaras, caimans, howler monkeys, giant otters, kingfishers, herons, egrets and one of the Pantanal's 500 bird species may appear! The boat hotel is comfortable, safe and the best in the Pantanal. But the most important thing is that it is in the heart of jaguar territory. Jaguars have already been seen from the Boat hotel. Our location also allows us to go into action at the best times for sightings and photographs. If we receive calls, we can quickly leave until the special event, which could be a jaguar.
Following the routine of this expedition, after breakfast, we will go on a boat trip. Most of the day will be spent exploring this remote region, which is great for wildlife and nature watching. After lunch, we will continue our search for the Jaguars and other wildlife, until sunset.

Upon arriving at the river deck, the boat tour begins for about 1,800 meters, where visitors can contemplate the crystal clear waters in shades of blue of unusual beauty. After the tour, visitors return to the reception area in an adapted car.
There, a car waits to take visitors back to the reception area.

29 Sept. - Garden Hotel to Aguapé Lodge. PM Safari; Game Drive.
Aguapé Lodge t’s the best place in the world to see Anteaters
(both the Giant and the Lesser) and it also has the best bird feeder in the whole Pantanal – nowhere else you’re going to see that
many Toco toucans and also Hyacinth macaws and Blue-and-
gold macaws hanging around the lodge. It’s also the best place to interact with Six-banded armadillo. Pampas deer, Rheas and Pacaris are also common sights.
They have a river (Aquidauana) nearby (350 meters from the lodge), but boat trips there are not
that good. The outings to see the wildlife highlights are done in a safari open jeep.z Before we go to the Aguapé lodge, we get to
play at the Macaws’ sinkhole – which is the best place in the world to photograph Red-andgreen macaws. Very cool!
